A few things to remember as you prepare for your trip:

• Make color copies of your passport, leaving one behind
• Notify your bank and credit card companies of your travel dates and locations, setting up a “travel alert” on your account

• Call you cellphone carrier and add an international plan, if desired
• Prepare multiple forms of currency (cash, cards, etc.)
• Check with your healthcare provider to find out if you are covered while abroad
